Mountain Town Maulers, Cranbrook BC's first roller derby team, has 18 members in total on our team, but due to injury and pregnancy, we currently have 14 active skating members: 12 that are bench marked. Our team was formed in January 2011 and is self taught. We practice every Tuesday and Thursday 7-9pm @ Cranbrook Curling Rink.
We have had the honor of a few special guest skaters and coaches, from Edmonton and Rossland B.C.
A big thank you to the Ladies from the West Kootenay Women's Roller Derby Association for the words of wisdom and guidance to help form our team and league.
Our team is always looking for new skaters and refs/ officials. Stop by one of our practices and we would love to meet you and have you join our team.
We have a monthly fundraiser so check us out to see what fun we will be having in our community, to date we have done a Gift basket raffle, BBQ and Car wash.
